Meet Josh!

My name is Josh Havelind. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I spent much of my time outside exploring the landscape and searching for wildlife. To share my love of nature, I began filming the local birds and developed a passion for videography. My desire to protect our natural spaces led me to study marine biology at Oregon State University. While at OSU I had an opportunity to work with scientists who studied the environment and whose stories inspired me to use my videography as a storytelling medium.

I believe conservation begins with creating strong communities. I started Green Wave Media to help businesses and individuals tell the story of the work they do to educate, build, and inspire people to work towards a sustainable future.
